Photographing people

How often are you satisfied with the way you look in a photograph? Photographing people is thus an art. A photographer fond of clicking pictures of people must keep in mind that a camera does not depict the real story - it either enhances or degrades the way people really look. It is therefore safe to say that a camera can either make you look good or bad. Some things must be kept in mind while photographing people. Each person should be assessed and the angle that they'll look their best must be judged. Most people photograph well while holding themselves at a certain tilt and angle. It is thus the photographer's job to judge lighting, shadows and the total picture before going on to actually take the picture.
