Rule of Thirds
But you can’t just buy a camera and go. There are certain rules and techniques that one must be familiar with to be able to take a technically sound photograph. The first of these rules is called the rule of thirds. This says that when the photograph’s frame is divided by two vertical and horizontal lines, the subject of the photograph should be placed at any of the points where the lines intersect. This makes the photo compositionally better to look at.

Bridge Cameras
The biggest advantage of these cameras over normal D-SLRs is that the owners do not have to change lenses. They come fitted with lens which allows very high levels of magnification, some offering as much as up to 35x zoom. For someone who isn’t a very keen photographer, these cameras suit his needs perfectly. But then again, there are functionalities a D-SLR provides that can never be matched by any other camera. The satisfaction of capturing the moment, just the way you want it, is unparalleled.

Photography as a Profession
Firstly the pay is crappy compared to the demands made by your employers. Then keeping up with the fast paced life is difficult. You have to make this your full-time job as balancing it with your day job is not possible.
You will have to go to different locations and take pictures which you aren’t even interested in.
Competition is another drawback. You may be taking pictures for a client and then without notice you may be handed the pink slip.
This line is mostly for the ‘very’ talented or the ‘very’ connected. Otherwise you are just taking a big risk.

A good SLR digicam has a massive sensor. This gives a larger angle view dependent on the focal length. This sort can be costlier but you are guaranteed of the larger quality of the image. A good SLR electronic camera should have depth of field control. It is actually possible to limit the depth of field.
