Bridge Cameras

There’s a new type of camera offering SLR functionalities at lower prices and without the hassles of lugging a big heavy camera body and lots of lenses. They are called bridge cameras.
The biggest advantage of these cameras over normal D-SLRs is that the owners do not have to change lenses. They come fitted with lens which allows very high levels of magnification, some offering as much as up to 35x zoom. For someone who isn’t a very keen photographer, these cameras suit his needs perfectly. But then again, there are functionalities a D-SLR provides that can never be matched by any other camera. The satisfaction of capturing the moment, just the way you want it, is unparalleled.
