The transition between point and shoot cameras and digital single lens reflex cameras is being rapidly filled up with the range of long zoom or prosumer cameras. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 in probably the best entry level long zoom camera in the market. The camera is competitively priced and comes with Leica lens elements with a very good image sensor. There are various shooting modes available giving this camera the versatility of its SLR cousins.
